Learn about Critical Illness Insurance:

A standalone critical illness insurance policy will pay out a lump sum if you get a serious illness listed in the policy. Critical illness insurance is often bought with life insurance, though it can be stand alone. This policy would then pay out if you were diagnosed with a critical illness, and you would still have life cover. Having both will provide the reassurance that you will be taken care of if you fall seriously ill, but also that your dependents will be looked after if you die unexpectedly. Even some of the best Private and Company Medical Plan benefits fall short of most people’s needs for long-term care and recovery. Typically, Cancer treatment costs can easily reach HKD$600,000 in Hong Kong.

Information & Advice For Every Stage of Life

What Our Clients Say

  • My Advisor was extremely helpful in providing me with important valuable information to help me transfer and consolidate my UK pensions. They delivered on time and helped me make some important decisions on how to structure my pension fund. They keep me informed on a regular basis and are always attentive to my requests. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend for anyone who requires an excellent financial advisor.

    Antonio
    COO, Financial Services

  • Having had bad experience with advisors in the past I was somewhat hesitant to meet with "yet another". But the Advisor I met was the consummate professional and even better than that, has helped me save money that I never would have done over the past four years and improved my portfolio significantly. What I've found to be unique is his very proactive approach to managing my portfolio and the regular updates he gives me regarding it and the financial markets in general - this may seen to be a simple thing, but unfortunately not all advisors I've met are this conscientious! As a result, I have recommended him to a number of friends who've been looking for financial advice and they have thanked me profusely for the introduction - so clearly, they too, are very happy with his results.

    Consultant

  • My Advisor is the kind of advisor you want to have: responsive, reliable, provides sound advice, listen to your needs and concerns; and all delivered in a friendly and straight forward manner. I would recommend them without reserve.

    Florence
    Audit Partner

  • I interviewed a number of wealth managers in Hong Kong and decided to work with Expat Financial Limited. I haven't been disappointed, they are very attentive and adaptable to my requirements and have outperformed any previous wealth managers that I have worked with in the past by a long, long way. I am very impressed with their knowledge and find their continued support a breath of fresh air in the field of wealth management.

    Karl
    Airline Pilot

  • My Advisor is a real expert in the offshore investment market and has a fantastic ability to articulate complex investments into simple language that anyone can understand. He is extremely personable, professional and has real integrity. He is the first and only advisor who I have met who is 100% trustworthy and recommends what's right for me as the client even if that means he does not benefit. During the years of financial crisis my investments still developed well. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending their services to anyone who wants straightforward honest advice and wants to grow their portfolio.

    John
    IT Director

  • Paul has been invaluable in helping me to maximise the benefit of being an expatriate in Hong Kong. He's trustworthy and hard working, likeable and energetic but without being pushy, a rare commodity in financial advisors. I would not hesitate in recommending him.

    Legal Counsel
